Installing Configuration File On Epicus-TS

Configuration files are used to set basic settings on an Epicus-TS Device without the need for special software. Some of the most common uses for this are to enable / disable mask detection, Modify Temperature Setting Thresholds, Add the device to a Wifi Network, or Enroll the Device into AI Smart Access Software.

1. Download Configuration File

Our configuration files can be obtained via email or on our website at support.tempscanus.com . Simply submit a ticket and one of our representatives will send you the file requested. While most configurations are simple, some will require the user to modify some parameters for your specifc needs.

2. Copy setting.xml file to a flash drive

Place the setting.xml file onto a flash drive for configuration of the device

3. Plug Flash Drive into Scanner USB Port

Plug in the flash drive into the USB port located on the cable whip of the Epicus-TS Device

4. Watch Device Screen for Confirmation

The scanner will display updates as it detects the USB Drive

Once the setting.xml file is detected, the device will import the settings

Once complete, the screen will display "Import Setup Complete". Once this message appears, your settings have been applied and you can remove the flash drive from the device
